Hydrospeed : Family Initiation Descent
Presentation
You will also learn sign language in the river.
Become one with the river ! 🌊
More demanding than rafting, hydrospeed is suitable for sporty profiles.
Hydrospeed is a leisure activity that consists in descending rivers using a float as the only vehicle. Using the skills we show you, such as body surfing and eskimo rolls, set off with confidence on a thrill seeking adrenalin adventure!
Whether you're a seasoned adventurer or simply looking for an exciting challenge, hydrospeed is the perfect activity for you. 🤟
To each his own:
🟢 Discover hydrospeed - from 10 years old
A first easy course to discover the first sensations of getting into the water. The course begins in a body of water, where you'll learn how to swim, how to "eskimo roll", how to change direction and how to sign on the river. You'll then take your first plunge into the Isère for a short descent. The course is open to children aged 10 and over. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
🔵 Hydrospeed initiation - from 12 years old
A fun course to introduce you to your first descent. The course begins in a body of water, where you'll learn how to swim, "eskimo roll", change direction and sign language in the river. You'll then dive into the Isère for a descent punctuated by easy fast sections and small waves. The course is open to adults and children aged 12 and over. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
📍 The hydrospeed base is at Landry, just outside Bourg Saint Maurice.
